As
per the evleaks reports, it says HTC will unveil Nexus successor and
two of the Android tablets. It is named as Nexus 9 rather then 8.
The code names of the tablet are supposed to be known as "Volantis"
and "Flounder." Check out the below tweet.
Besides the T1 Volantis/Flounder/Nexus 9, HTC is developing two
other tablets: the T7 and T12 - http://bit.ly/1sDGf0W
Other
details says that the other two HTC tablets are T7 and T12. The
numbers refer to their screen sizes, probably it may not b the case.
Nexus 9 will be assigned as T1 model number.Details surrounding the
other two HTC tablets — the T7 and T12 — are even less certain,
as this is the first time we've heard anything about them. The
numbers 7 and 12 could be a reference to their respective screen
sizes, though this may not be the case, as the upcoming Nexus 9 has
reportedly been assigned the T1 model number.
It is still not sure
by @evleaks when we could expect the tablets to launch, but it might
rollout and club with new OS Android L which is expected later this
year. Tablet's release can be around between July and September as
per the previous reports.
HTC is manufacturing
these tablets for the first time for Google's Nexus, where the
company had launched its first smartphone Nexus One in September 2010
for Google.
