1)  Android is not a Google's Product:-

Android was developed by the company Android Inc. at Palo Alto, California. Android company was established in October 2003 by founders Andy Rubin, Chris White, Nick Sears, and Rich Miner.

2)  Android Version names:-

Android has its OS version names from A , B, C, D, and so on til K..at present and see the naming on this alphabets for the OS.

Google acquired Android Inc. on Aug 17, 2005 and its employees keeping many people to think Google was trying to capture their hand in mobile market. The assumptions were true and in September 2007 Google reported a patent for mobile technology.
